*Citronella Essential Oil- has been a well-known registered insect deterrent since 1948, and its properties mask the smell our bodies produce that attracts insects not unlike DEET except without harmful chemicals. 
*Lemongrass Essential Oil- has been known to help repel ants, fleas, ticks, and flies. 
*Cedarwood Essential Oil- has been known to be very effective at deterring ants, ticks, and other small insects. 
*Peppermint Essential Oil- has been known to provide a scent that insects strongly dislike and avoid. 
*Geranium Essential Oil- has been known to be a strong wound healer and repels mosquitos. 
*Eucalyptus Essential Oil- has been known to contain a compound called d, eucalyptol, an aromatic compound that repels insects, inhibits acetylcholinesterase activity, and acts as a mosquito larvicide.
